PRIVACY POLICY

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site. No advertising trackers, no selling of data.

What we store

• Account: username, email, and a securely hashed password (never plain text).
• Profile: bio and profile photo, if you add them. These are public.
• Content: your posts, comments, likes and dislikes.
• ASCEND: your daily progress scores, if you track them.
• Inbox: notifications generated for you.
• Moderation: whether your writing access is currently suspended (muted) and the reason, if a moderator has applied one. See the Terms (Spam & rate limits).
• Consent: the date you accepted the Terms at registration.

What stays private

Your email is never shown publicly and is not returned by any public part of the site. Only you see it, on your own account page. Your password hash is never exposed.

Cookies

We use a signed, http-only session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember cookie consent. See the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can edit your bio and photo at any time. You can permanently delete your account yourself from your account page (Danger Zone): this removes your account, your posts and their images, your progress data, inbox and pending tokens. The action is irreversible.
